Mexico City, April 12, 2018.- The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (CANCHAM) awarded GMI Consulting with the “CANCHAM Outstanding Business Awards (COBA) 2018” as the most innovative company in Mexico for stablishing a brand-new approach to accomplish project’s social management and Social Impact Assessment studies in México.
CANCHAM is representative of more than 300 Canadian and non-Canadian companies doing business in Mexico. COBA rewards companies that promote commerce and investment between Mexico and Canada on the fields of Corporate Social Responsibility, Investment, Innovation, Connectivity and SMEs.

GMI Consulting’s methodology comprises best international practices in social management, such as Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Shared Social Benefits Protocols from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the UN Guiding Principles on Human Rights and Business, Equator Principles and Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), among others; looking forward to achieve Millennium Development Goals.
