María Nieves García-Manzano
Ms. García-Manzano has a degree in Law as well as a degree in Philosophy with a specialization in Political Philosophy.
She has over 13 years’ experience in social and environmental management, a strong academic background, and periods spent abroad that inform her global vision and approach.
She has a wealth of experience in the public and private sectors, and has coordinated the environmental and social management of national infrastructure and development projects. She has advised various government ministries and business entities regarding the implications of regulations in respect of Social Impact Assessment and Indigenous Consultation.
She has a thorough understanding of how to analyze environmental and social issues and identify potential risks and conflicts, as well as how to design negotiating strategies and resolve disputes.
