Graduated from the Career in Philosophy with a specialty in political philosophy from the University of Guadalajara, and a degree in Law from the Universidad del Valle de México.

She is a member of the Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados and the Barra Mexicana, Bar Association where she is Coordinator of the Commission on Indigenous Affairs, was a counselor of its Foundation and Director of the YouTube channel BMA-TV. She is a Councillor of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and Vice President of the Mexico City District of the WIM Women in Mining Organization. She is a Counselor of the Mexican Energy Council and in 2020 was recognized as one of the Most Influential Lawyers in Mexico by the publication Foro Jurídico.

She has worked as a Consultant on Human Rights and Business, Telework, and on the implementation in Mexico and Central America of Convention 169 of the International Labour Organization (ILO) on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples for the Bureau for Employers’ Activities of the ILO itself.

She has completed diplomas on various topics such as Collaborative Law and Strategic Litigation, and has been accredited by the International Labor Organization as Ambassador of International Labor Standards after having participated in the course on International Labor Standards for Magistrates, Jurists and Teachers in Law.

She writes columns periodically in the media, is part of the Editorial Board of “Energía a Debate”, and hosts the program “Este Mes Con” of the BMA-TV Channel.
