We integrate legal-anthropological opinions for the identification of native, indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples and communities, according to official databases and state regulations to determine the presence of peoples and communities subject to a collective right to a process of prior consultation.

In the event that the analysis of official databases and state regulations results in the presence of native, indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples and communities that may be affected by the development of a project; We carry out anthropological expertise that allows us to characterize and understand their uses, customs, religious practices and cultural values and identify if these could be impacted by the project.

Accompaniment

Since the processes of Prior, Free and Informed Consultation must be carried out by the Mexican State, we accompany our clients to review the progress of the authorities during the process and establish recommendations where appropriate so that it is carried out in legal accordance with the principles that should govern these processes, the protocols issued by the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples,  the resolutions of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, the international instruments ratified by Mexico, and the resolutions of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, among others.

Legal opinion on the results
